Journalling at Twilight: 9 Prompts to help you trust your intuition, dream boldly and try new things
Share
As the sky shifts from day to night, everything softens, the perfect time for reflection and dreaming... Here are 9 prompts to inspire your twilight journaling.
Trusting Your Intuition
1. When was the last time I trusted my intuition and it paid off?
Think back to a moment, big or small, when you listened to your intuition or gut feeling. How did you know it was the right thing to do? What happened as a result? Noticing these wins helps build trust and belief in your own wisdom.
2. How do I feel when I ignore my inner voice?
We’ve all brushed off that quiet nudge before... What does it feel like for you? Is there a pattern to when you ignore your intuition or an icky feeling? What could you learn from those moments?
Exploring Your Dreams
3. What’s a dream I keep thinking about and what is stopping me from pursuing it?
Is there an idea, goal, or vision that keeps resurfacing for you? What's holding you back from going after it?
4. What would my life look like if I followed my dreams a little more boldly?
Let yourself imagine: if fear and “what ifs” weren’t in the way, how would you show up differently? What would change in your daily life or your creative journey?
Embracing New Things
5. What’s one small, new thing I could try this week?
Growth doesn’t need to be dramatic. Is there a tiny habit, creative project, or new experience you could explore? Jot down your ideas and pick one to try.
6. If I could do anything without fear, what would it be?
No dream is too big or too wild here. Let your imagination run wild—what’s on your secret wish list? What’s one step you could take towards it?
7. Write about a time you stepped out of your comfort zone—how did it change you?
Reflect on a past leap of faith. How did it feel before, during, and after? What did you learn? How did it shape who you are now?
Noticing Signs & Finding Inspiration
8. What’s a sign from the universe I’ve noticed lately?
Maybe it’s a repeating number, a song lyric, or a random conversation that felt meaningful. Write about any “signs” that have caught your attention and what they might mean for you. Could it be a message to try something new or that you are on the right path?
9. How can I make space for more creativity and curiosity?
Look at your daily routine. Where could you carve out little moments for free dreaming, or exploring new ideas? Even five minutes can make a difference.
